Nothing commissioned, but a few intriguing ideas buzzing about – not all of them related to WW2! If any one of them happens I shall be thrilled.
This is always an exciting time, seeing ideas taking shape, doing initial research and talking to potential collaborators. But my agent is properly realistic: the non-fiction market is dire and she has her work cut out to sell her clients’ – even the well-known ones – new ideas to publishers.
